{"id":1107,"date":"2011-05-28T12:33:15","date_gmt":"2011-05-28T19:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1107"},"modified":"2011-05-28T13:13:09","modified_gmt":"2011-05-28T20:13:09","slug":"i-did-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1107","title":{"rendered":"I did it"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recall last week I failed miserably at running Lake Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Today I made it up, I ran it twice, a total of 14 miles in 2 hours 41 minutes 37 seconds, my overall pace was just a hair above 11 minutes and 30 seconds.\u00a0 That would put my 1\/2 marathon time at 2 hours 31 minutes which is slower than what I ran last year.<\/p>\n<p>If you look at the first 7 miles of my run, which I completed in 1 hour 16 minutes 16 seconds, my pace was 10.89 minutes which would make my marathon time nearly 2 hours and 23 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>I hit the 10.5 mile mark at 1:57:07, giving me a 11.15 minute pace, would have me finish at 2 hours 26 minutes which again is better then last year.<\/p>\n<p>Its the last 3.5 miles that killed me, it took me 44 and 1\/2 minutes to run.\u00a0 That gives me 12.71 minute mile.\u00a0 That won&#8217;t do.\u00a0 I need to increase endurance.<\/p>\n<p>Still great day, confidence booster, I can finish the 1\/2 marathon.<\/p>\n<p>Final note about my run, I never walked or stopped, of course I had to slow down on the turnaround points, but I am especially happy about not have to walk or stop.<\/p>\n<p>As for my weigh in, can&#8217;t diminish the euphoria.<\/p>\n<p>Weight: 253.4<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recall last week I failed miserably at running Lake Washington.
