Today I wanted to get the replacement switch in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I was installing the new switch I thought I could simply unplug a few wires. When I plugged the wires back in, network was partially down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course, I thought it was the wiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ended up not being so, it was a misconfigured switch. I had VLAN 1 blasting across all of the interfaces on the new switch. Not good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also got figured out USB booting again and the little differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a final scary note, I went with son to go pick up some Amazon stuff, someone came up behind him and made a gesture like he was going to hit my son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I immediately went out of car to protect him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Disabled or not I would have given it my all to protect him. Every last bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
