{"id":1118,"date":"2011-06-01T21:27:32","date_gmt":"2011-06-02T04:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1118"},"modified":"2011-06-01T21:34:56","modified_gmt":"2011-06-02T04:34:56","slug":"today-was-about-willpower","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1118","title":{"rendered":"Today Was about Willpower"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, today was a good test of my will, I was tired from an extra long day of work, but I managed to gather the heart to push through over 1100 calories on my treadmill workout.<\/p>\n<p>In 1 hour I ran 5.55 miles. in 1 hour, which makes it 11.1 miles in 2 hours, which means I need to do the final 2 miles in 1\/2 an hour to beat last years time. \u00a0I need to get up to 5.83MPH in order to beat my original goal of 2 hours 15 minutes. \u00a0I still got 3 weeks to build up speed.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend I will try another 14 miles, then I will tone down and do 10.5 or even a 7 the next week and finally a 4+ the weekend before the half marathon.<\/p>\n<p>But the big test was afterwards, during my weight training. \u00a0I could have called it quits, and the thought sneaked into my head. \u00a0I am glad I pushed through it though, I did all my sets.<\/p>\n<p>I did feel weak though, I <del>think<\/del> know skipping breakfast is BAD.<\/p>\n<p>Wish I was lighter though. \u00a0This is an evening weigh in.<\/p>\n<p>Weight: 254.0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, today was a good test of my will, I was tired from an extra long day of work, but I managed to gather the heart to push through over 1100 calories on my treadmill workout.
