I thought I would be lighter, in less debt, more healthy none of which came true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were two non work, but non vacation trips one to Toronto the other to Hawaii both to deal with family issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Got a colonoscopy, that was &#8220;fun&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So lets get on with it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Bad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bad habits came back<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ended year with high credit card balances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Worked out less<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No good reason why I weigh over 340<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Been busy and too tired to work out<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installed 48TB of disks but not getting used<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garage Cleaned but got messing again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Good<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PT Actually helped, not hurting any more walking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upgraded most servers to Rocky 9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learned ansible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cholesterol and BP normal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got off Steriods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Son finished XC with a PR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Started shooting again, not a bad shot at all<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ESXi host upgraded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got into 3D printing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got into Tasmota<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Biggest news of the year, no malignant cancer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, 2020 and 2021 were disappointing, 2022 and 2023 weren&#8217;t bad but not great either.  Hoping that these come in pairs and 2024 will be a rocking year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Archives are almost done, just going through validation.  But personal note for next year, make sure outlook is synced up before backing up and messing around with back end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just want to note on weight, I did weigh in at 350.4, but at about lunch I was able to get it down to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weight: 349.4<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On initial reflection, did not feel like it was an accomplished year for me.
