Yesterday I woke up late, although I fixed a huge AWS problem I had. Today although I did not wake up super late, I slept in and woke up to some powered off ESXi hosts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I brought up the ESXi hosts, one of them lost a data store. Luckily I have backups, unfortunately one of them was a Domain Controller. On that same DS was a Linux box, I rebuilt from backups fairly quickly. The DC took much longer, partially because I built using an essentials version when it should have been a Standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be fair, the service came up and rebuild was easy, but still slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
