It was a great choice in that it was easy to access my room between sessions. \u00a0I don’t think it was way out there in price but was worth it. \u00a0In room amenities is another story, those were expensive.<\/p>\n

My room itself was a home away from home, it was really comfortable, the view was awesome. \u00a0Was hard to find a power jack in a good location though.<\/p>\n
<\/a>VMworld 2011 Labs<\/p><\/div>\n
VMworld itself was like my boss said, a firehose of information. \u00a0I did see vendors, sessions, and group discussions, but the labs is what impressed me.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately this is the best pic I could get of VMworld Lab, but I tried to get a shot of the enormity of the lab.<\/p>\n
<\/a>VMworld 2011 Keynote<\/p><\/div>\n
There were a lot of people at this conference, the flow was pretty good. \u00a0Paul Maritz had his keynote in this huge area, it was really impressive with super large screens spanning the length of a blog. \u00a0I probably could fit my home street in this area.<\/p>\n
<\/a>VMworld 2011 After Party<\/p><\/div>\n
Last night (Wednesday night) there was the VMWare Party, they sure do know how to throw one.. \u00a0Not a place to pick up girls though, they girl to guy ratio is like 1 to 20, being a little prejudiced, but I felt like if they were good looking, in heels, and their knees showed, they were strictly vendor eye candy.<\/p>\n
Didn’t get a chance to hit the gym while I was here though, felt sick Sunday and Monday not until Tuesday did I feel better, I think something on the plane made me sick.<\/p>\n
Still got some pushups and situps done in my room and there was quite a bit of walking throughout this trip. \u00a0I certainly was not stationary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
