I think I am finally understanding these used modules I have gotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These have prior settings in the module that needs to be erased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This command showed a lot of the prior owners stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

qmicli -d \/dev\/cdc-wdm0 -p --wds-get-profile-list=3gpp<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n

In my case I stopped ModemManager<\/p>\n\n\n\n
systemctl stop ModemManager<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Then launched minicom<\/p>\n\n\n\n
minicom -D \/dev\/ttyUSB2<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Then I ran the following <\/p>\n\n\n\n
AT!ENTERCND=\"A710\"
AT!RMARESET=1<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
I waited then actually rebooted the whole machine, I think all I needed to do was reset the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When it came back up I went back in to minicom and ran<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AT!ENTERCND=\"A710\"
AT!SELRAT=06
AT!BAND=00
AT!RESET<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
All those profiles were gone<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also checked <\/p>\n\n\n\n
AT!GSTATUS?<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
And low and behold it was registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Started up ModemManager and I was golden<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My day is not done, as I post it is 11:34PM, gonna do some pushups and situps, then head in to the office to run a multi hour job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
