<\/a><\/p>\nThere were certainly some interesting sites around there and there seemed to by preparations for a celebration going on.<\/p>\n
We checked out of the hotel, at about 12 to head to the airport.<\/p>\n

The hotel was OK, cheap, served its purpose of providing a place to sleep, eat and workout.<\/p>\n
So our first conveyance was an SUV that took us to the airport. \u00a0We checked in and at about 2PM (boarding time was supposed to be 1:50PM but guess they ran on Filipino time) we boarded our second conveyance an airplane and flew to boracay airport.<\/p>\n

We then caught our third conveyance a tricycle. Sorry no picture.<\/p>\n
And our fourth conveyance a boat, I got to admit, the boat caught me by surprise, I was expecting something bigger.<\/p>\n

When we got to the island, we jumped on a truck our fifth conveyance and took us to the hotel.<\/p>\n
The hotel was a small one, I was expecting more but something on the strip. \u00a0I think part of the reason is that I was at the Venetian in Las Vegas and had some expectations.<\/p>\n
BUT<\/p>\n
The staff here is AWESOME…. I can’t believe how friendly they are. \u00a0They treated us right and at $385 the price was a steal.<\/p>\n
The place is called the Paradise Bay and I would recommend it.<\/p>\n
We kicked back and looked at the water and had a few beers.<\/p>\n
After our beers we settled into the room then headed for the main strip to see what was going on.<\/p>\n The buffet was cheap between 250 and 400 pesos ($6 to $10 USD), but \u00a0it seemed like the bars and clubs were empty.<\/p>\n That was until I realized it was only 8:30PM and that in a 14 hour period, I did so much.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This post says 5PM something Sept 16 but for me it is 8AM Sep 17.
