I tried to get the remote power working for the NAS, but there were significant challenges one of which was the connections. I may revisit and simplify the wiring, so not all is lost, there are other options as well like an external device to power it on and off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I really need to get this project going though, been taking too long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I did organize the garage more, it is coming along. There is a bit of workspace there now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another thing I tried to do today was to mount an iPhone on my Rocky 9 linux box. It was frustrating because the daemon needed only ran on Rocky 8 or Rocky 10. So I feel I have to keep a R8 box around just for iphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
