{"id":1520,"date":"2011-10-06T23:25:54","date_gmt":"2011-10-07T06:25:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1520"},"modified":"2011-10-06T23:26:36","modified_gmt":"2011-10-07T06:26:36","slug":"making-my-goals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1520","title":{"rendered":"Making My Goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This was due last week, but only now have I had time to fill this out.<\/p>\n<p>I have several goals to make<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the upcoming 1\/2 Marathon I would like to be under 245lbs.<\/li>\n<li>By end of year I would like to be under 240lbs<\/li>\n<li>and by the time training for the Rock and Roll marathon starts I would like to be 225lbs<\/li>\n<li>Finally in May I would like to be under 210lbs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That means I have to lose over 50lbs in 7 months. \u00a0That will mean I have to lose 2lbs a week, a safe weight loss rate, but certainly challenging. \u00a0That means a 1000 calorie a day deficit.<\/p>\n<p>At 263 lbs my Basal Metabolic Rate is over 2300, so sticking to a 2000 calorie diet will get me a loss of 300 automatically, add to that a 3mile run and 1 mile walk and it should do it.<\/p>\n<p>I figure the various walking I do throughout the day will make the 1 mile I need each day, which brings me to running 21 miles a week.<\/p>\n<p>I will not try to make it this week but will look to trying it next week. \u00a0If all works out, I should be well under 260 after next week Saturday&#8217;s long run.<\/p>\n<p>In order to make this goal I will need to add couple two a day workouts like I did yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Couple things I have to do<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No Late Night Snacking<\/li>\n<li>Reduce my Sugar Drink Consumption<\/li>\n<li>Coffee &#8211; Black (hmm may save money too)<\/li>\n<li>Drink Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I want to keep my Thursday a rest day (just 1 mile run and 1 mile walk)<\/p>\n<p>Weight: 263.0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was due last week, but only now have I had time to fill this out.
