{"id":1832,"date":"2012-01-30T23:26:15","date_gmt":"2012-01-31T06:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1832"},"modified":"2012-01-30T23:26:15","modified_gmt":"2012-01-31T06:26:15","slug":"raspberry-pi-arduino-geek-heaven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=1832","title":{"rendered":"Raspberry Pi + Arduino = Geek Heaven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I been thinking about all the little projects I could do with this setup. \u00a0Here are some public ideas.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knight Rider like car, I&#8217;ve read some comments online calling for a Carputer. \u00a0Yes computers already exists in cars, but this one would be one you build and customize.<\/li>\n<li>Christmas lights synced to music, couple years ago I came across a video of Christmas Lights playing to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra &#8211; Christmas Eve Sarajevo. \u00a0I am planning to do something similar this Christmas.<\/li>\n<li>How about an interactive game for Halloween?<\/li>\n<li>MAME or some other emulator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Got so much ideas, don&#8217;t want to\u00a0publicly\u00a0list them, I want to patent them first :-), look at the shields available for Arduino, then imagine integrating it with Linux. \u00a0Think relays, actuators, wireless, infrared.<\/p>\n<p>What can you read? Temperature\u00a0, moisture, on off buttons?<\/p>\n<p>What actions can you do? Turn on lights, send an email, calculate something?<\/p>\n<p>What logic do you need?
