{"id":2169,"date":"2012-05-23T23:34:58","date_gmt":"2012-05-24T06:34:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=2169"},"modified":"2012-05-23T23:34:58","modified_gmt":"2012-05-24T06:34:58","slug":"evaluating-my-progress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=2169","title":{"rendered":"Evaluating my progress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I looked at where I am at with my training for the Rock and Roll Half Marathon.<\/p>\n<p>I still don&#8217;t feel like my head is in it, but after today&#8217;s workout I don&#8217;t think I am as bad as I thought I was.<\/p>\n<p>I ran 4 miles on the treadmill in decent time, the main run got me over 5.5MPH average. \u00a0Add that 4 miles to 1 on Monday and 1 yesterday and I am at 6 for the week. \u00a0If I run 3 tomorrow and 4 Friday and Lake WA Saturday I STILL make my 20 miles.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke to fellow gym member Matt and this step back may not be bad at all. \u00a0It was about overwhelming your nervous system, I think I may have done that. \u00a0Also I may be peaking at the right time, I have 4 Saturdays before Rock and Roll, take one away because it is the Saturday before the Race and I got 3, if I can do Lake Wa 7 mile this weekend and 10 each the next two after that (and a four plus the Sat before RnR) then I think I am good physically.<\/p>\n<p>So bottom line, I am not that bad off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I looked at where I am at with my training for the Rock and Roll Half Marathon.
