{"id":234,"date":"2010-08-11T21:35:09","date_gmt":"2010-08-12T04:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=234"},"modified":"2010-08-11T21:35:09","modified_gmt":"2010-08-12T04:35:09","slug":"tracking-what-i-eat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=234","title":{"rendered":"Tracking What I eat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My training buddy and coworker David seemed surprised when I said I Wednesday&#8217;s was a 1000 calories (AKA Cardio) day for me.\u00a0 He wanted to make sure I was also counting my intake as well.<\/p>\n<p>To be honest, and this is an admission of guilt&#8230; Not accurately.\u00a0 I usually do look at nutrition facts, but it hard to gauge the calorie count for things that do not have a label.<\/p>\n<p>For example&#8230; the Halo Halo&#8230; old buddy Lianne is asking for.\u00a0 I honestly don&#8217;t know&#8230; I am guessing it is high like 500 calories\u00a0 but because I use low fat milk and not as much sugar as most, I am guessing 400 calories.\u00a0 So it really becomes subjective.<\/p>\n<p>I used to track everything via thedailyplate.com, but I found myself only eating items that had Nutrition Information label.\u00a0 In a way, I was not eating stuff cause I did not want to deal with the data entry.\u00a0 Of course there is the other view that I was seeing how much I consume so I did not eat as much.<\/p>\n<p>So nowadays I keep a running tally in my head as best as I can, since a lot of things can be subjective anyway.<\/p>\n<p>But David is probably right, if I kept a precise tally on my intake&#8230; I will lose weight.
