{"id":2538,"date":"2012-09-12T19:04:45","date_gmt":"2012-09-13T02:04:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=2538"},"modified":"2012-09-12T19:06:53","modified_gmt":"2012-09-13T02:06:53","slug":"one-gym-day-a-week-not-enough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=2538","title":{"rendered":"One Gym Day A Week Not Enough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am trying to get back in the gym more regularly.<\/p>\n<p>That is weird to say because I been pretty consistent with my personal trainer, and she pushes you.<\/p>\n<p>But I am at a new chapter of workout. \u00a0I am going to spend the rest of this week in evaluation mode to see where my body is at. \u00a0Today was not a good day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For one thing, I cramped up early on the bench press with a single 45lb plate on each side.<\/li>\n<li>Next I struggled mightly for 12 minutes on the elliptical.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, I had no mojo. \u00a0Didn&#8217;t feel like working out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Still, I need to make myself understand that I am starting over again.<\/p>\n<p>So this week is\u00a0acquaintance\u00a0week, just getting into the gym to do something.<\/p>\n<p>Next week will be more of an evaluation week, where I start looking at metrics at where my body is at.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully in two weeks, I will be in startup mode with some reasonable rest of year goals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am trying to get back in the gym more regularly.
