I decided to see what would happen if I did I kickstart build with the shelf of shared disks still connected. \u00a0I found it… it blows away your shelf of disks, although this was an intentional test, it sure did impact my day.<\/p>\n
Recovering from the disaster was not trivial… I pulled the disks and when the server was booting up I plugged it back in and wiped the disk with a dd command. \u00a0The problem was it wanted to boot off of the shelf rather than internal disks.<\/p>\n
Was gonna work out, but am super beat up today.<\/p>\n
