{"id":2863,"date":"2012-12-27T23:52:12","date_gmt":"2012-12-28T06:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=2863"},"modified":"2012-12-27T23:52:12","modified_gmt":"2012-12-28T06:52:12","slug":"end-of-year-5k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=2863","title":{"rendered":"End of Year 5k"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the things I needed to convince myself was that running is still doable.<\/p>\n<p>I made it a goal several weeks ago to run a 5k even if it was on the treadmill.<\/p>\n<p>Time: 00:40:00<\/p>\n<p>Today I accomplished that goal with 4 days to spare. \u00a0Felt good because if I did not make it, I would have to run it outside. \u00a0I still may make a run outside but glad it is out of the way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=2864\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2864\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2864\" alt=\"TreadMill5k2012\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/TreadMill5k2012-300x293.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/TreadMill5k2012-300x293.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/TreadMill5k2012.jpg 344w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A 5k is a hair under 3.11 miles and I did this in 40 minutes. \u00a0The calorie count is actually pretty impressive.<\/p>\n<p>I also put up on this blog as a page, not a blog post my goals for 2013.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Goals for 2013\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?page_id=2860\">Check it out 2013 Goals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I looked at 2012 and noticed that some of the goals were achievable, I just needed to revisit them to keep on track.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I got the Linux &#8220;motion&#8221; software to work on the Wyse thin client. \u00a0Pretty impressed that it worked.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the things I needed to convince myself was that running is still doable.
