{"id":3076,"date":"2013-03-11T21:55:40","date_gmt":"2013-03-12T04:55:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=3076"},"modified":"2013-03-11T21:55:40","modified_gmt":"2013-03-12T04:55:40","slug":"hacking-wireless-networks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=3076","title":{"rendered":"Hacking Wireless Networks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night I successfully hacked into my own wireless network. \u00a0With WPS available it was extremely easy. \u00a0Way way too easy. \u00a0It took a while but I was able to.<\/p>\n<p>Here is my lab setup<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"text-align: center;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Lab-Network-Layout.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3077 alignnone\" alt=\"Lab Network Layout\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Lab-Network-Layout.jpg\" width=\"304\" height=\"412\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I did this using a Linux distribution called Backtrack, the current version is 5r3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It got me thinking if I could do it with the Raspberry Pi, after a few typos, and crashing the router, I think I am on my way to cracking WPA on this lab.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now I am going to write up a paper on how I did it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I ran on the treadmill today, my intent was to run outside but the weather was not cooperating.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Time: 496Cal 2.3Miles<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I have to go to work early tomorrow, will plan to do a morning workout in the gym, even if it is a quick one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Weight: 281.6<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night I successfully hacked into my own wireless network. \u00a0With WPS available it was extremely easy. \u00a0Way way too easy. \u00a0It took a while but I was able to.
