{"id":3093,"date":"2013-03-16T13:55:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-16T20:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=3093"},"modified":"2013-03-16T13:55:00","modified_gmt":"2013-03-16T20:55:00","slug":"good-run-for-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=3093","title":{"rendered":"Good Run for now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ran Lake Washington today. \u00a0Was a good run, but need to get faster<\/p>\n<p>I hit the halfway point at 42:55 and completed the entire run in 1:29:13.<\/p>\n<p>I was tracking my time and realized towards the end crack 90 minutes was possible. \u00a0That pace has me finishing the rock and roll half marathon in under 3 hours, specifically it was closer to 2 hours 47 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Still, I got 3 months to train, over 14 weeks. \u00a0So I have time to get faster and better.<\/p>\n<p>There was a weird problem towards the end though, when I stopped I felt my throat or tongue swell up and was worried I was going to choke. \u00a0Luckily my son was there just in case we had to call 911. \u00a0I cough drop brought down the swelling and I was able to breath normally after 5 minutes. \u00a0It did rain on us towards the end and I was pushing hard to make time. \u00a0It could have been a combination of the two that caused me to nearly choke.<\/p>\n<p>I weighed in before the run at 281.6 after the run<\/p>\n<p>Weight: 277.2<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ran Lake Washington today. \u00a0Was a good run, but need to get faster I hit the halfway point at 42:55 and completed the entire run in 1:29:13.
