1\/2&#8243; screws and nuts.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/BackScrewsForEthernet.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3753\" alt=\"BackScrewsForEthernet\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/BackScrewsForEthernet.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"469\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/BackScrewsForEthernet.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/BackScrewsForEthernet-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I drilled three holes in the faceplate. \u00a0One 7\/8&#8243; hole for the sensor and two 5\/64&#8243; for the screws. \u00a0Unfortunately 7\/8&#8243; was a tad to small so I think 15\/16&#8243; or even 1&#8243; may be enough.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/FrontCoverPIRHoles.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3756\" alt=\"FrontCoverPIRHoles\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/FrontCoverPIRHoles.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/FrontCoverPIRHoles.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/FrontCoverPIRHoles-246x300.jpg 246w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also the screws I got from McClendon were not small enough, I took a chance at Ace Hardware store and found some even smaller ones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ReallyTinyScrews.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3757\" alt=\"ReallyTinyScrews\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ReallyTinyScrews.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"524\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ReallyTinyScrews.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ReallyTinyScrews-300x196.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For screws they were expensive though, lucky I only needed 2.<\/p>\n<p>It was a nice setup though, looks industrial.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/20131116_220936.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3759\" alt=\"20131116_220936\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/20131116_220936.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/20131116_220936.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/20131116_220936-300x189.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Really busy today, did more drywall, replaced the battery in my car, and all this Arduino stuff. \u00a0Barely had time to post on this new project. \u00a0Was hoping to run but still have to do some sort of exercise. \u00a0Hitting some pushups and situps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the reason I wanted to but Arduino on a breadboard was so I could strip out what I needed it fit it into tight places, here is what I did today with yesterday&#8217;s Arduino.
