{"id":3847,"date":"2013-12-23T11:27:18","date_gmt":"2013-12-23T18:27:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=3847"},"modified":"2013-12-23T11:27:18","modified_gmt":"2013-12-23T18:27:18","slug":"back-to-seattle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=3847","title":{"rendered":"Back To Seattle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been in Seattle for over 14 years now, so I have been living there more than I have been living on Molokai.<\/p>\n<p>But it will be a while before I have lived in Washington more than I have lived in Hawaii. \u00a0I left Hawaii when I was 28 so I will need to double my time so far in Seattle.<\/p>\n<p>I say this because I still refer to going to Hawaii as going home, yet it seems normal to say I am going back home to Seattle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MolokaiSlowDown.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3848\" alt=\"MolokaiSlowDown\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MolokaiSlowDown.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MolokaiSlowDown.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MolokaiSlowDown-300x196.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was a fast trip, less than a week, but I was able to slow down while on Molokai. \u00a0I return to Seattle a bit rested.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/InterIslandPlane.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3849\" alt=\"InterIslandPlane\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/InterIslandPlane.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/InterIslandPlane.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/InterIslandPlane-300x189.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The puddle jumper plane that flies between Molokai and Oahu was OK, hate to ride that thing for 5 hours though like the Airbus 330 I jump on when I fly back to Seattle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DiamondHeadCrater.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3850\" alt=\"DiamondHeadCrater\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DiamondHeadCrater.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"517\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DiamondHeadCrater.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DiamondHeadCrater-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a>Although I did get to see friends and places like Diamond Head<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MatsuMotoShavedIce.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3851\" alt=\"MatsuMotoShavedIce\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MatsuMotoShavedIce.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"322\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MatsuMotoShavedIce.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/MatsuMotoShavedIce-300x120.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a>Matsumoto&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/GraceDriveInn.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3852\" alt=\"GraceDriveInn\" src=\"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/GraceDriveInn.jpg\" width=\"503\" height=\"449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/GraceDriveInn.jpg 503w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/GraceDriveInn-300x267.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And Grace&#8217;s drive inn, maybe it is a good thing that I didn&#8217;t see all of the places, friends, and things while I was here.<\/p>\n<p>Cause it gives me a reason to go back home.<\/p>\n<p>Just doing pushups and situps, this trend of mild workouts will end soon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been in Seattle for over 14 years now, so I have been living there more than I have been living on Molokai.
