Here is how my day went, and to top it off, I had a horrible sleep last night.<\/p>\n
First off, I had to quickly get a some new servers rewired in the morning.<\/p>\n
Then I had to present in a meeting the plans to upgrade our servers.<\/p>\n
I then had to troubleshoot a problem with one of our new servers and I struggled to get the new ESXi installed, I am abandoning the USB install method.<\/p>\n
After work I rushed to 3R tech and purchased a new switch and some ears for my power distribution unit.<\/p>\n
But I scored at repc when I found some rails that would probably with my server at home.<\/p>\n
Got home and wanted to work with my new gear but did a quick audit of my network and found a weird IP address. \u00a0Turns out was my cisco firewall.<\/p>\n
Finally my Dell PowerConnect was giving me problems. \u00a0Doesn’t like cached stuff, erasing cache AND disabling use of cache seemed to fix things.<\/p>\n
