{"id":6535,"date":"2016-12-14T23:51:16","date_gmt":"2016-12-15T06:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=6535"},"modified":"2016-12-14T23:51:16","modified_gmt":"2016-12-15T06:51:16","slug":"new-wifi-access-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=6535","title":{"rendered":"New Wifi Access Point"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well not new, but used, new in this house.<\/p>\n<p>I went and found a wireless router by chance today. \u00a0It is a Linksys WRT400N. \u00a0Most linksys I have worked with have broadcomm chips. \u00a0They are licked because they can be modded well.<\/p>\n<p>But this WRT400N is based not on Broadcomm but Atheros. \u00a0They don&#8217;t have as many features as a broadcomm chip but they do have excellent stable Radios.<\/p>\n<p>So it will live itself out as strictly an access point. \u00a0Another Interesting feature is that this unit has a 5Ghz Radio.<\/p>\n<p>Kind of cool because I got it for $5+tax. \u00a0 The cheapest I found one I found on ebay that is working and buy it now was $13.00<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well not new, but used, new in this house.
