{"id":6571,"date":"2016-12-31T19:40:27","date_gmt":"2017-01-01T02:40:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=6571"},"modified":"2016-12-31T19:40:27","modified_gmt":"2017-01-01T02:40:27","slug":"reflections-on-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/?p=6571","title":{"rendered":"Reflections on 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tried to run a 1 lap today and it was a microcosm of 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Full of hope in the beginning but the whole thing was a struggle.<\/p>\n<p>But I got to admit, 2017 seems more promising. \u00a0One thing my run today and looking back on 2016, I am behind so bad.<\/p>\n<p>The nice thing about blogging daily is that I can reflect on this same day last year. \u00a0I said<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But there is promise for 2016, and a big difference between Dec 2014 and Dec 2015 is I feel hope.&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>And that is true again this year, but I did see my new business pick up. \u00a0I think it may actually be viable.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve cut expenses, moved to the cloud, and adsorbed the cost of a new pretty darn good rig.<\/li>\n<li>I am tooling up to do youtube videos, hopefully a new one each week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I actually got more organized, my finances are visible now. \u00a0With this new scanner\/laser printer it will get even cleaner.<\/p>\n<p>But the reality is I am still behind, I got a lot of work ahead of me. \u00a0Like todays 1lap, it showed I have a lot to go.<\/p>\n<p>Good bye 2016, hello 2017<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tried to run a 1 lap today and it was a microcosm of 2016.
