Four screws attaches it to a mounting bracket, that bracket is also attached to the bottom case with 4 identical screws.  Four long screws attaches it to the main box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internally, you can also add a M.2 Sata, and this is where it gets pricey&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original use was the have a portable computer running vmware player that I can take around with me.  Unfortunately, I got greedy, 120GB probably would have been fine, but I wanted to keep ISOs and a larger VM, I could have gotten away with a simple 1TB Sata, but I got even more greedy and got an NVME and a 250GB SSD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-Drives.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-Drives.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-Drives-300x193.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-Drives-768x493.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So the reasons it was expensive wasn&#8217;t technical&#8230; it was greed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least the power supply is an easy to find 19V with a standard DC barrel connector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"612\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-powersupply.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-powersupply.jpg 612w, https:\/\/www.apolonio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Brix-powersupply-300x294.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For its intended use, this should work nicely.
