First day we were there I slept for the most part. I was taking a nap at 3PM there which was about midnight in Seattle, and getting up at 9PM which was about 6AM in Seattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mind that when we were finally up, it was already Thursday. We went to the mall and cut our hair to get ready for the Family Reunion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reunion was on Sat July 13, it was a fun affair, lot of drinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday was more Mall time, and I purchased a Karaoke machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday I closed out my savings account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday we were off to Ilocos, first official stop was in Vigan to see a church, it was raining, but beautiful<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curious on the way to the resort, we passed somewhere that was extremely familiar. I called some family back in the US and they confirmed it was my dad’s childhood home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort was awesome, never felt so pamered before. The food was always a buffet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have many more pictures than this but keeping with my normal policy of no individual photos, this is all that I really got, a view from the deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the way home, I convinced my family to visit my dad’s place of Ansad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an interesting drive, the road was extremely tight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was nice was being able to show my kids the Apolonio roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for today, body still trying to adjust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoping to sleep on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
