Today was a nice day.\u00a0 The sun finally showed itself after hiding for weeks.<\/p>\n
So I just had to take advantage of the clear weather and went for a run.\u00a0 It may have been the weather, allowing me to wear less clothes or the new shoes, but my 5k almost matched my top numbers.\u00a0 I was just short by 20 seconds.<\/p>\n

Another reason may be that yesterday’s run may have planted some confidence that I can run the distance and maybe even make the time.<\/p>\n
The shoes were great, today was its maiden “run”, and I think it was a good purchase.<\/p>\n
Still worried I am a little heavy, I wish I was under 250 by now, but I think this is where I slowly chip away at my weight.\u00a0 I am not too worried though, I am near last years running weight anyway.<\/p>\n
