Felt like Black Friday or Cyber Monday today, but just an excuse to buy stuff.
Amazon had their Prime Day 2020 and NewEgg had their Fantastech Sale.
I made the decision to get an RTX 2060 because I do not think I will get a 30xx series graphics card and I need the GTX 1660 back in to my Linux box so I can get my transcode speeds back up.
While on NewEgg I ended purchasing two 10TB WD CMR Red Drives. These will go in to my media plex box after I burn them in.
On Amazon I purchased a host of things, some of it came in today, one was a fish scale and another was a BT to stereo interface.
Curious that another thing to appear was a battery for a UPS. I thought it was going to come in Friday and I could not weight. There were some fierce wind blasts knocking out or at least flickering the power killing a UPS that had an important switch. I could not wait to replace such an important UPS, so I sent my daughter to purchase a UPS from best buy. Then this battery appears today. Which is OK because some other things got killed that should be on a better UPS.
Other things I got from Amazon where another USB headphones for downstairs. BT speaker for my wife, a mouse for my son, smart plug for Christmas lights and weirdly a metalic sharpie.
Wind storm was bad today, frustrating how it killed Internet connectivity.
