I am out of time and last night my son who was home said he could not get to the Internet.
Luckily (or maybe I am just prepared) I had documentation and I was able to trace his connection remotely because I have good ducmentation.
I had him reseat the plugs and he was able to get back on.
I suspect I accidentally disconnected him and some other devices.
I was able to get the 433Mhz Tasmoto on a wemos D1 mini and 433mhz working.
I used the tasmota-sensors.bin image.
There was some initial success, but after a while disappointment crept in when only some devices were picked up. One thing I looked at was distance and the antenna, but they did not work. So now I am going to try a different radio module.
But that will have to wait, headed out of town.

Finally got the MSI motherboard and I replaced the old Asus motherboard.
This was the mobo I should have gotten.
Now I can fit a video card, 2 HBA and a 10G card.
For future record the mobo I got was a MSI PRO B550-VC ProSeries

I went to 3R tech today to return 3 bad drives. Spoke to a Chris and he said I can go through him instead of ebay for some deals.
Anyway I am considering keeping some offline spares (cold spares) for the jbod.
I already have one.

Such a powerful video, I first watched it at work a few weeks ago and it left a lasting impression. One of those songs truly full of emotion.
So the past few days I watched some reaction videos and looks like I was not the only one.
And the genuine emotion was filled here

Kind of bummed that the sonoff bridge I just purchased is unlike the older ones they used to make.
The new ones are white and have different flashing procedures and does not work like the old black ones.
So now I am going to figure out if I can do this with a wemos D1 mini.

Today we celebrated my daughter getting her degree. It is an AS, and she will continue working towards her 4 year degree and maybe farther.
I appreciate the fact that she wants to see how it goes in her field,
I keep telling the story that I was originally supposed to be in civil engineering. I took my first programming class in Fortran and I was hooked.
What I also didn’t say was during this time I discovered that you can get data from other over a modem. I recall using pclink and compuserve. Led me to who I am.
So I wish my daughter to find out what works for her and I hope it works well.

The badblocks scan of my new DIY JBOD is done, unfortunately 3 disks were bad, one of them really bad.
Also forgot to mention RHEL is no longer providing source code to non customers.
Not sure how that is going to work with Rocky and Alma Linux.
Also got my Sonoff 433Mhz actually working and in use. I see it picking up 433Mhz signals.

Summer starts, longest day of the year.
It was finally nice again, hoping it holds, hoping it is really summer and we can do stuff.
Unfortunately, I was really beat and tired. Only ate once today, so I earned a snack, but I was so tired.
I slept for 3 hours. So something going on, I ask myself if I am sleeping well.
Anyway, like last year we just got out of a 3 day weekend.
