Got a refresh on my work computer, I had this one for years (before 2020), this is the Latitude 7280 which came out in 2017.
This is my windows box, but my linux laptop, trying to get more Linux virtualization. Got a machine built, but networking is an issue. Maybe I can figure out how to properly use it with a newer physical box vs a VM in a VM.

Finally got virtualization running on Rocky 9, still need to build VMs on it, but at least I got something going.
Also looking at getting back into Mame with the help of a cousin.
Running late on my steps, it is 9PM and I only got 1177 steps.

So I actually did run yesterday for a bit, and my legs are feeling it.
New shoes do help, but still hurting a lot.

Wow it has been a while
Actually tried to run the west seattle 5K today, walked most of it. But I finished and was not last
Left house at 8AM, was about right for a 9:30AM start, the wait was not crazy and we could find parking.
May want to try and run it on my own in the future, here is the turn around point
Start point was the bathhouse where gear check in was.
My son was 4th place with a time of 17:35
I was right behind him at 1363 place
Needless to say, I got my steps done early, during the race in fact, I saw it flip over to 10,000.
Day is not over though, looking at my watch and it says 14586, so I may crack 15k by end of day.
Steps were a little tougher to come by, at least my fitbit gave me a break me letting me get the most of it in my driveway.

Day had a lot going on, pretty hectec.
This was the last day my son participated in a meet, didn’t run but was hoping to get in as an alternate. Didn’t happen.
But another big story today was him going to prom, big milestone, first “date”
Couple other firsts, first time using a ride share (Lyft), first time riding a Tesla.
Hope he had fun.
Day was probably emotional.

Son ran his last high school race. He does have a chance tomorrow but it is unlikely.
He didn’t do bad, did not PR, but he cracked 5 minutes and was not last. Good enough for a finale.
Tomorrow if someone scratches on the 3200 he will run.
But highly unlikely, but he did have a great season.

Friday I have a half day of work before I shoot over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge for my son’s last meet (probably).
Then Saturday he has a Prom, more on my son, but we need to get ready for that.

I just got these because I have the ConBee II in production and lost the Nortek.

Starting to use my own rocky 9 repo. Trying to find out what is required to download. I did download everything but it totals to about 6TB. If I reduce it to isos and x86 architecture I can bring it down to 330GB.
Also I figured out how to back up the ssh keys (basically /etc/ssh), and restore them.

Inflation finally affecting me, before I would brush off a $10 Mcdonald’s meal and $5 Starbucks. But the increase to $15 for a fast food meal now bites.
Maybe inflation of food will cause deflation of body.
