Containers and VM at same time

You can run VMs and containers at the same time but you cannot to bridging and macvlan at the same time.

I hope I am wrong.

So to explain a bit, if I want a VM to have its own IP address, I need to create a bridge tied to the ethernet port.

If I wanted a container with its own IP address, I need to create a macvlan tied to the ethernet port.

A solution may be a second ethernet port.

I dunno maybe.
