Got my LTE board and installed in on my Pi
Kind of cool, couple things, I had to connect the USB connection to make both the tty and the NIC appear.
I do not intend to send out traffic out of the LTE other than SMS messages.
I used minicom on /dev/ttyACM0 and was able to send an SMS message
But as of this post, I am not sure what I did, I was not able to send another message.

I have all the major parts in that drawing except for the LTE unit. That is expected to come in tomorrow.
I could theoretically have this functional by Monday.

Adding another project to my list of things I am working on. It was a Raspberry Pi based monitoring, that will be the last host standing in the event of a power outage.
Today was the first time installing Rocky 9 on a Raspberry Pi 4. Amazingly it worked. I can now use the commands I am familiar with to manage it. I few ansible scripts did not even need to be tweaked.
Also got a 4 channel relay going as well. Did some work in the cleaned up garage.
Printed a case for my message box project as well.

Wow, got a lot of things in place. I would say our home is in a good place, not really clean, but functional again.
I feel like taking another week off to organize the house more. So much progress.

Yesterday worked upstairs, I would have continued upstairs today but my daughter works from home tomorrow so I needed to get some stuff cleaned up downstairs.
Unfortunately, I just got stuff out of the way, did not do a true cleaning.

Been doing a lot of maker stuff lately, as fun as it is, it creates a mess. This weekend I was going to focus on getting areas prepared so I can get to a point where I can build my stuff in the garage.
With the new printer coming, I need space. Furthermore, I made a deal with my wife to make space. So I made space.
Signficant progress was made in the garage today, but we still got to hit the basement where the current printer is. Tomorrow will be the basement, and Monday will be more garage.
Speaking of new printer, it is worrisome that a new firmware will be changing the way Bambu printers work. Hope it is not another Cricut.
Speaking of cricut, I am sad that my Lunakoa drink coaster cracked today.
Speaking of things breaking, had a flat Friday Morning and found out late Friday night. This morning I got it fixed, I thought it was a simple patch, damage was bad enough to require new tire. With AWD, you need to replace two.
Anyway, day was productive at least.

Looks like this year I will be getting more into the makerspace. Ordered a newer 3D printer that can do multi color. I think I am ready.
Next thing is to be able to modify my own drawings.
