I’m Normal!!!

That is a big deal for me. I am talking about my BP and Cholesterol levels.

Went to Dr for a checkup and BP was 126/79 and that was the second higher measure. The first one was lower like 117/69

My cholesterol is normal too.

Now to work on my weight.

Superbowl 57

I had no skin in the game, no dog in the fight, you could say a flipped a coin and it decided for me on who to cheer for. It landed on Kansas City, although Eagles looked good. There was a play at the end where Eagles were flagged for a PI, it was barely noticable.

Anyway, football season is over.

I walked in the morning cause I knew I was probably going to watch the game.

Still had 6k steps at night but I got it in with relative ease.

Despi Delite Bakery

It has been a while since I been there, forgot what I used to like. I recall after a half marathon or some run long time ago my son and I ate there.

Kind of apropos, my youngest son finished a 2 mile on track, did PR.

On way home took wrong turn, but took advantage of the situation and got some stuff athe Delite bakery.

I did walk a little in the morning, made the evening walk easier.

Glad This Week Is Done

Was up but didn’t sleep late last night, but the thing different was I was working.

I finally got a bit of break today and I was able to get some reprieve but not a lot.

Got my walk done today by helping some old Cantonese (Chinese) lady. She was at RTC and needed to be by McKnight Middle School.

Gonna sleep well today.

Getting Harder To Make 12k

Went to office today, just walking around I got 3000 steps maybe even 4, but afterwards had to make up the other 9k.

Was kind of hard I admit, not sure why, may have less energy because I am not eating as heavy, but I am eating, should be enough.

Since I been tracking my food, definitely have a food deficit which is good for weight loss.

Lets keep it going, lot of will power involved.

Booked Week

A lot going on this week, kind of wish it was boring, but got stuff to do, most of it work, but some health things like PT, and blood draw.

Need a quiet week, where I can focus.

Tomorrow going in to office so maybe I will get to bed early.

Power Outage This Morning

Butterfly effect, power went out this morning and has a domino effect on the rest of my week.

I went to bed at about 12:30 and did not fall asleep till 1AM but at 3AM the power went out, a lot of beeping happened and apparently my CPAP was plugged into the wrong port.

Woke up and ruined my sleep, I asked if I could sleep a bit.

Anyway got some work done but had to work late and didn’t start my walk till 6, and went straight for 2 hours.

As I post, need 43 more steps which is nothing.

I started recording my food, and looks like I am eating more than I thought.

Weight Should Be Going Down

Kind of frustrated, it has been two full weeks of doing 12k steps and I have not been losing weight.

I suspect there is a lot of salt in my diet and a lot of water weight.

So I will start to track what I eat. Will start with Mon to Fri with an open Sat and Sun. Eventually I hope to track the whole week.

If I don’t see any results by end of Feb, I am going back to see the nutritionist.

Need To Get Steps In

My current streak of walking 12k steps and 10 floors is in jeopardy. As I post at 8:30 I am at 3,200 steps.

I can do it but it has to be someplace covered.

I am worried.

But in this post I will mark it as done and will edit the post if I did not make it.

Three hours to do it.

Today was busy, I actually had some critical tasks to complete at work, and by the time I was done it time to leave for my son’s final swim meet.
