The JBODs I have been building uses smaller 40mm fans. I am going to see if a 120mm fan or two 80mm will do the trick.
Ordered a converter for a 12V fan to see if it will work. So far this is Frankenstein cover is what I made.
I did it by using the editor to cut a hole in the back and virtually attaching a base.
I am not only going to compare volume, but cooling as well. Currently everything is below 40C degrees and I will consider it success if it stays that way.

Today I went cruising around Alki Beach and Lake Washington not only for the first time this year but the first time since Toto Passed
Maybe it was good that I was tired since I did not think too much about it.
Did in early walk too, wanted to catch the sun before it went down.

Got a lot done this weekend, first time I accomplished all of the Main todo list. Office is much cleaner and I learned how to install netbox, didn’t finish but I think I understand what it is trying to do.
Also updated the frigate software, looks great. Seems to move faster.

Amazing progress over the past few days, and I still got tomorrow to do some more things.
Garage is functional, workbench is almost clear. Technically I can do work with no problems, and I can also easily access the miter, router, drill press and small saw.
I did screw up something though, maybe I need to call it quits earlier than later in the night, so I can relax.
May have to be up later than usual.
Hoping this time tomorrow will be so far along on the reorg, I can call it done.

Huge Progress In Garage
Kids helped me clean up the garage.
The progress is actually visible.
There is an outside chance I will be finished with it this weekend.
We will see.

Technically I can still go to the gym tomorrow, but I have plans and pretty sure it will be hard fitting in a gym workout.
With that said, I felt great on the gym today, averaged 3.0 MPH which is pretty good for me.
I don’t feel too sore either, when weather improves hoping my body doesn’t ache as much.

It has been a while but I truly feel things are coming together.
Still a ways to go, but I have hope that this and next weekend will mark the completion of the garage.
Going to start getting visibly better. I can move around in the garage and my office. Spring is just around the corner and looking like we are going to have a decent spring cleaning.
