HD Homerun

Engineering my media network, specifically the TV recording options.

I have 6 HD Homeruns and two dual Hauppage cards. I figured out how to record things on both systems to test.

Still working though TV signal issues but I think I got a good idea of what I can reach out and grab.

What is interesting is that the direction the antenna points does matter. I have decided what channels I want, what work, what doesn’t and what works sometimes.

Here are the channels I am seeing if I can get, but ruled out a bunch.

Starting with this list, and pruning out some of them either due to I cant reach, or just boring.

The amp I put it doesn’t really help me get more channels, just allows me to distribute to more devices.

Still it was fun using scripts to check out signal strength and to run trough different channels to see if they were any good.
