I had a critical internet service crash on me today.
Luckily the conditions of the crash only affected the boot process, and not the data. Basically grub was hosed because my internet connection broke when I was patching a server. I know better, should have run screen.
Also ran out of drive space. That was me being cheap.
Anyway, spun up a new VM and was able to restore, but I noticed some critical stuff was not getting backed up, mainly the mysql database, or at least not all of it.
That was a close call.
Workout was good, evening weight looked better.
