Greatest fear realized

Yeah I’m being dramatic… but my last Sansa Clip MP3 player died.  So sad, it is the music it emits that pushes me.

It may be a while before www.woot.com has any more.   So I may have to make a trip to Fry’s and get one.  I do have others but the sound from the Sansa clip is so clear.  So good for such a little device, R.I.P sansa clip.

Oh what a workout day… I got up too late to make a morning 5k so I made it an evening 5k.  But before I got home to run that 5k I hit the gym and burned some calories on the treadmill and elliptical.  Not bad, I believe I burned in excess of 500 calories.   I also added some weights with David.

So when I got home I ran that 5k I promised myself.  I was sure I was going to have a bad run but it was good.

Time: 36:25

Not my best but pretty darn good for a guy that did still did some gym workout.

I then went for a walk around RTC with the family

Speaking of the Gym and pushing it, there is this intern named Keith that works out.  He said he didn’t think he could run 5 miles, he usually runs 2 miles.  Hearing that kind of stuff gives me such inspiration.  Way to go Keith.

As for my weight, I knew it would come off, but to be honest, its mostly water and anticipate it will come back.  It is a milestone though for this blog.  I need to break 244.8, the weight I was after the 1/2 marathon in order for this to be a new record.

Weight: 246.2
