Found out something new about my wifi, the default is to rotate the MAC, I needed it the same so I chose permanent which used the hardware wifi.
Also got wireguard working. Looks like there are two ways, wg-quick and network manager.
If you go the wg-quick way you can import the config to network manager so that was pretty slick.
Still got a bunch more things to do though.
