Vancouver Trip

Wanted to summarize my trip this weekend, I know yesterday’s post was pretty weak considering I had a lot to say.  I know I have posted less some times but this time I was just in a hurry to get home.

After the hike, went to Metro Mall for some lunch, I saw this place my coworker Devron recommended, maybe next time

NewYorkFries

New York Fries

After a bit of rest we went to the famous Night Market

NightMarketFruits

The night market offered a lot of things, like Fruit

FriedIceCream

And two of my favorites

GrilledSquid

Grilled squid, looks gross tastes good

HongKongEggPuffs

Also tried something new,

I don’t recall seeing this in the US but I did get a 3 12 packs to try out.  See my review later.

AlingMarysStore

Aling Marys Store

One of our family traditions is to get some Pan de Sal for Aling Mary’s store before going home.

MainNE11

Aling Mary Location

If you decide to get some its at the corner of East 11th Ave and Main.

Visit Josephines next door too.  There is some good Filipino Food there too.

JospehineRestaurant

Ate some Halo Halo and good roast pork there.

Before going home we made a stop at Church’s Chicken and Tim Horton for some Frappe Mocha.

All in all a good trip.

Ran a 5k today,  I had pretty good time considering what I ate and the small workout I had yesterday.  Maybe the rest is what I needed.

Time: 35:10

What I am surprised is my weight.

Weight: 248.4

    What is in Metro Mall?

Oh and have you been to PinPin’s, they have some yummy Filipino foods too 🙂

Metro mall is a pretty cool shopping center in the Burnaby area. I would equate it to Bellevue Mall in Washington, USA but bigger. Also it has Food (unlike Bellevue Mall)

I got to check out that PinPin place.
