One of the reason I wanted to but Arduino on a breadboard was so I could strip out what I needed it fit it into tight places, here is what I did today with yesterday’s Arduino.
I found the box at Lowes, it worked will, pretty cheap too.
It was hard finding screws for the Ethernet mounts but I new that there were some at McClendons so I went to there to buy some 2-56 – 1/2″ screws and nuts.
I drilled three holes in the faceplate. One 7/8″ hole for the sensor and two 5/64″ for the screws. Unfortunately 7/8″ was a tad to small so I think 15/16″ or even 1″ may be enough.
Also the screws I got from McClendon were not small enough, I took a chance at Ace Hardware store and found some even smaller ones.
For screws they were expensive though, lucky I only needed 2.
It was a nice setup though, looks industrial.
Really busy today, did more drywall, replaced the battery in my car, and all this Arduino stuff. Barely had time to post on this new project. Was hoping to run but still have to do some sort of exercise. Hitting some pushups and situps.
