Finally, a good workout

Gosh this whole week was a struggle, until today…

Friday’s are usually a 2 workout day, I had a good 2 lap

Time: 25:16:40

I was able to push this morning, but I thought it was going to be another boring day.  But the time was respectable, I think I could have cracked 25 minutes if it weren’t raining.  Rain was not bad but I did have to wear a sweater.

My second workout was a heck of a lot better, I was able to burn 500 calories between the treadmill and elliptical while I did some good workouts with my arms.

What was also good that I am starting to hit 6MPH (10 minute mile) and sustaining it on the treadmill.  In the near term, I should shoot for that for 10 minutes because it is a reachable goal.

I hope by next year April I can sustain 7.5MPH (8 minute mile) for 25 minutes, which means a 5k in 25 minutes.

I stopped focusing on weight, but I still monitor it.  It is nice to see it stay sustained under 250.
