Ugh, so heavy

Tried running again, I really thought it was going to be tougher than yesterday but ran OK.  Certainly was not in shape to go three miles.  At 2 miles per day (1 walk 1 run) at my current weight (bleh) I would be burning 400 calories.  Seems a lot but I think it is accurate.  If I can stick to a 2000 calorie diet I think I will make it.  Because my current BMR is 2354, so that burns about 700 calories per day. So for 25 weeks

7 x 700 x 25 = 122500 calories divide by 3500 per lb I have lost 35 lbs.

The math is actually more complex than that because as I lose weight and age, my BMR will go down.  Still, I work out more than 400 calories per day.

Friday I will finalize my 2011 goals.

But it was heartening to see my relatives sign on for the 1/2 marathon.  I thought for sure it would be just me again in my family, but to hear that they actually paid the fee was soo awesome.
