This new laptop has some challenges
- Was a pain getting
- Can’t fit a 9mm hard drive (has to be 7mm and smaller)
- I thought it had bluetooth
- While docked the USB3 didn’t seem to work (granted I didn’t wait long or look at the bios)
- Not as light as expected
- Rubber bumber coming off on the monitor
But it has some Triumphs
- Fast for an older laptop
- Boots wicked fast
- Wifi is AC
- Uses existing docking stations
- Display is 1080P
Went to Fry’s to try and buy a 2TB Hard drive for this laptop, weird that they said they don’t and never did offer rain checks for sales. Liar.
I ordered a 2TB hard drive from Amazon instead, hoping it will improve things capacity wise. I purchased a bluetooth mouse from Frys though, I think I will use it with my work laptop and move the wireless mouse from it to this one. Eyeing a 500GB mSata disk in the future too.
Almost all the software I want is on it.
Went around Renton Tech today. Of course had to play with my new toy.
