It has been a calendar month since I started the Keto diet.
What is interesting is that I can compare what I did in 2009 vs what I am doing now.
On June 2, of 2009 I started and my weight was 295.4 and in July 22, 2009 I weighed in at 287.0 which records as 8.4 lbs in a month.
On this Keto diet, and I am no where near the strength and stamina I was after a month of 2009 training, I am weighing in at 283.2. For reference I started at 299.2 on July 2, 2018.
That is a 16lb difference nearly double what I lost in 2009.
I do expect that speed of weight loss too decelerate.
There is an interesting note that in 2009, the second month of training, I dropped 14.4 lbs.
So it is not out of the realm of possibility that I could be under 270 before September rolls around.
