So I finally got the tools and cables I need to build the adapter I need for my T410 PE server.
Looks like what I got will work.
As a backup plan I will shrink wrap if needed. Just waiting for the pins.
Just as well, because I got some other things to take care of this week.
Contemplating ordering the 128G of RAM now.
Was supposed to post a summary regarding my trip, all I can say I need a change of pace for a bit. Or rather, doing something I normally do.

Also while out I did find a label printer, hope I can incorporate it into a workflow for my ebay store.
