After wanting to do this for years (Since I got my APC9211) I finally redid the core functionally with arduino.
I can now, through a web page call, turn on and off various relays to power on devices.
Now I can front it with a web server like apache and run a simple get against the arduino.
Ran 3+ today, light run. Tomorrow is 1 lap then I am done till RnR 2013!!!
