Today is the end of lent, I know it is up to a person to extend past today, and I normally hold off till Easter myself.
Tomorrow I am going to fast again, at more than usual to increased stores.
Speaking of increasing stores, maybe I should buy more filament, doesn’t look like things will ease up soon in the middle east, and even things like filament will be hard to get.

Day was busy, started off with reports we could not log in to work and stuff was down.
I logged in, checked nagios, I thought it was a big joke on me.
Ended up being a real outage. Network filipped from one ISP to another ISP.
Day was just filled with work and meetings. Glad it is over, still more tomorrow though.

Doubt I will be able to run a 1/2 marathon this year, but I do have a real shot at cracking 300 before summer. Summer hits June 21, so I got two months and 20 days, 82 days before it hits. Two pounds every 10 days would get me there.
Also house is getting more organized, I am financially stable, all is good.
Life is looking better.

Ordered an HBA that I think will fit the M920Q. AN IBM 9220-9i.
Had a good run on the treadmill at the Y today, for most of the run I was at 3.2MPH and hit 3.3 then did a mile walk.
Busy day, also got my 10,000 steps.

Over 10 years ago I wanted to have a mobile rack for training. It was a big monster heavy to load. Too damn heavy, not practicle.
Today I build a smaller one, hoping to see if kids will like it on Tuesday.
Weight is a bit high, I think if I weighed in after I got home would be lighter.

I am building a couple of things and need a bunch of filament. I ran out a bit on the normal petg black I use, then tried to order on Sunlu store, there was none.
I got two rolls of official Sunlu from Amazon, that buys me time, but I also ordered from Sunlu reseller Yoopai as well.
It is weird how there seems to be a shortage of filament.

Initiating a large zfs send, users are there already, after I need to recreate the shares.

Still working on trying to fit fans on the front of my JBOD, heat did go down a bit after I covered all the holes, but I think I need to go 80mm fans. I ordered them and will try them out.

I pulled the trigger on a new firewall. I am nervous at the cost, it came to 905.00, but it has everything I need. RAM and storage included.
There was a cheaper version, but no RAM and RAM is where the rub is.
So in 2026 I got a new NAS and a NEW Firewall.
Looks like I will be in major cost trimming mode for the next few weeks.
Pushing to clean and organize the house. A lot of cool things gonna happen, need it clean.
