Today made some big decisions on the smart home. The biggest one was to go for Lutron Caseta for the main lights in the kitchen. It costs more, but I feel like the reliability was really important and I don’t want to anger my wife.
The under counter lights have more flexibility. I purchased the Ikea Tradfri system and another one I never heard of.
I also went nuts on with the xigbee protocol, purchased a gateway that hopefully can talk to the tradfri.
