With revamping my home network, I needed to decide what protocols to use.
Kind of settled on Lutron Caleta which has its proprietary connections, but is compatible.
Will also use newer secure tech in zigbee and zwave. Leaning more towards zigbee which is what runs Ikea IoT solutions.
Will also support 433Mhz which has some of my items.
Some custom MQTT things
X10 really old school stuff.
Also TP-Link Kasa smart things
Maybe Tuya and Tasmota.
