A lot of things to unpack today, so this will probably be a long post.
Today was bubble run day, first official “run” event in I don’t recall how long

First off woke up early, for my future self, we left the houst at 7:40, there was a little traffic but we got to the start point of the Bubble Run in Puyallup at 8:45 with enough time to stretch but not much time to warm up.

That run was not 5k, I would say based on my time it was 3.5 to 4.5k. It was fun though, got home early.

This was a transition period for my shoes, retiring my black Saucony and going to my Blueish Green Hoka.

For reference and my future self this is how the bottom looks.

Old Shoes needed a proper retirement send off

Another thing that had its last day was the Saar Market by Goodwill in Renton, today was its last day to be open. Did a walk through one last time.

Another thing that is ending today is the 12000 step July Challenge, wife and I completed it. As I post there are 15352 steps, I walked in the new shoes today after the Bubble Run. Challenge complete.
Another goal which I was surprised I completed was getting my 3rd day under 320. It was after the bubble run but it was still morning, not noon yet when I weighed in so it is all official.
This was a day with a lot going on, kind of fullfilling.
