Reflections On 2022

Just finished my 10 floors, so I did it, recall at the beginning of the year I made it a goal to do 10 floors a day. I did it.

Reflecting on the year, I did my 1/2 million steps in a month, I did a timed 5k (ok they wanted us to walk but I did it)

I reversed some of the weight loss, last year I weighed in at 350.6 so here it the 2022 list

The Bad

  • More in debt, was hoping to be on the other end of this equation, tomorrow will start planning
  • Still on meds albeit at a much lower dose
  • Cold kind of affects me a lot
  • Knee problems and swelling still here
  • Not affected me directly, but Russia Invaded Ukraine
  • Got Covid

The Good

  • Got the shed
  • All major internal work is done.
  • Meds working, Nucula really got me breathing again.
  • Did 1/2 million steps in a month
  • Met my goal of 10 floors a day
  • Actually flew on a plane
  • Upgrade underway to ESXi 7 (should be good till 2027)
  • Upgrade underway for Rocky 9
  • Reduced physical machines in home.
  • Overall feeling good

So we will see, 2020 and 2021 were disappointing, 2022 wasn’t bad which made it better. Its like getting D’s for grades then suddenly getting a solid B and it felt good, but could be better.

Goal setting tomorrow, got to get back to the party. But it was a good year.
